The kids have a week and a half left in their 2nd term of school and then they will have a month off before they start the 3rd term. We're looking forward to a lazy break.
My English class at Moffat has been going well. It has been fun to be back in the classroom even for just a few hours a week.
Erik is preparing to leave for South Africa to attend a meeting for pediatric surgeons in Africa. We hope that this is a fruitful time for him. We also hope that McDonalds burgers and chicken nuggets will still be good after the 8 hour flight because that is what we are planning to have for dinner on the night he returns. I know that might sound gross to you, but it has been over a year since we've had access to McDonalds so we are willing to take such risks!
It looks like BethanyKids will be able to continue their work in Dadaab and we are so grateful. Please pray for security and safety in and between the refugee camps.
